Email from MTC Subject: Maybe illegal email 9/16/22 Hello all, Reason for title: Instructions here are confusing, so I don’t know if I’m allowed to send this email, but I heard I can so I’m going to. Travels: I flew over to Mexico for the Mexico MTC, that was pretty neat, but I couldn’t sleep on the plane the first flight due to a crying child.  Also shoutout to Heather Kearl the best pianist out there whose niece was on my plane.  Additionally I got a total of 6 biscoff cookies which , in my opinion, make it he entire two years worth it. First day: I don’t really know what to share in this, but first day was neat, my district is cool and even cooler in person. Second day; This is actually a funny story some would say.  The entire second day I was telling everyone that I was district leader (without proof, because I wasn’t ever told that).  Anyway, we get to the meeting that we do interviews with our branch presidency, and they come out and announce that I am gonna b...

Flying to the CCM/ saying goodbye

We left at 4:30am to get Tyler to the airport.  He flew to Dallas and then had a layover for 5 hours and then flew to Mexico city.  He was picked up there and rode a bus to the CCM.  We waited for him to call for hours and hours and finally got an email that said 3 words, "I made it!" Home MTC

Home MTC for 2 weeks.  The first few days were a struggle when Tyler realized his classes were all in Spanish and he doesn't speak Spanish.  I'm so grateful he was home for this frustrating experience and that Brad and I were able to help him with some of the hard.  We went to tacos for lunch almost every day.  Brynn wanted Tyler to sit right next to her when they rode in the car.  Tyler spent P-days with his best friend Jacob.  Spanish was frustrating but it was so fun to see Tyler learn and grow and see how much he learned during those two weeks.  During that time I gathered all the things Tyler might need.  Tyler told me, "No missionary is as prepared as a missionary who's mom has high anxiety!"  I wasn't sure whether that was a compliment or not but he was right, my anxiety of him leaving was eased by knowing he would be completely prepared physically.  Tyler and I had a few early morning runs to try and find that runners high ...
